spring has sprung

Hello there!

Happy new year ha ha!

God January is a bitch ! Tax returns, credit crunch shit weather etc.

So thank god it's Febuary now, it's been a lovely day and I can feel Spring is in the air.

Recent projects include a whole host of radio adverts for a South African agency, they wanted an Obama soundalike , and we found the best, contact us to hear more. Yes we can !!

New Voice

We have a new totally fresh voice coming to urbanradio in the next couple of weeks...
Check back, we're all really excited about this.

New imaging for a host of stations this month, there seems to be some great music about at the moment to use too.

Our favourite at the moment is the new single from Anastacia "I can feel you " , we LOVE the Full Phatt remix cos it samples Chaka Khan , I feel for you... ha ha wicked !

This blogging is harder than I thought, actually coming up with content is easy putting it down on here is the tricky part...mmmmnnn

Have been doing a lot of work for our American friends this week, there seems to be a growing dance radio trend in the States, interesting seeing as the major players in the early days were all Americans. However, it's still fairly niche with many stations who originally adopted a hybrid of hip hop/dance/r n b have now completely flipped urban. The hip hop fans don't like dance and the dance fans don't dig rap. Radio friendly dance can sound shit make no mistake, the burn out on Cahill "Trippin on you " is a good example as is "Pjanoo", tiresome after a couple of plays.

At least with the resurgence of Bassline we are getting proper some songs too...

Blogging is hard work !!! I've been told it's all about showing yourself and making your website feel more personal etc, well f**k that I have been too busy !

Just finished producing a high energy package for a Greek station and supplied VOs for an Italian dance show, so we are truly global!

That dancing on Britain got talent

I'm of course talking about the amazing routine with the mash up of Billie Jean/Ice Ice baby and some Desi Beats, can't stop watching it on Youtube

Talking of Desi Beats we are just about to produce a very cool new package featuring Dan Lee the voice of Galaxy, he's a massive talent and a nice bloke !

Also this month we produced two new Spanish packages, a really interesting new Underground station is coming to the Costa Del Sol so on your holiday tune to 106.4 FM Lick !

What a great movie, took me 3 days to watch it...long story ha ha !!

I rarely buy DVDs but this is worth the dosh, great story , awesome acting , inspired Jay Z to record an album too so that's all good .
